Susan MurdochFor more than 30 years Susan Murdoch has been a constant presence in the Toronto film and television production community. As a freelancer, partner in Pebblehut Productions, and now as head of QVF Inc., she has produced over 400 hours of episodic television and countless movies and pilots. In 2007 she received a Gemini for Best TV Movie for Doomstown, which she produced for CTV. She was nominated again in 2009 for a Gemini for The Terrorist Next Door and in 2010 for Best Comedy Series for Dan for Mayor.

In addition to producing, Susan has been active over many years advocating on behalf of the film and television industry. She was the inaugural Industry Chair of the Toronto Film Board, former Co-Chair and founding member of FilmOntario, treasurer of the DGC-ODC, and on the board of the DGC Entertainment Ventures Corp. She is currently a member of the board of the Actor’s Fund of Canada.

PATRICIA CURMI, CPA, CA – Chief Financial Officer

Patricia CurmiPatricia Curmi is the CFO of QVF Inc. She is a Chartered Accountant with an extensive background in production accounting, finance and business affairs. Patricia has been responsible for overseeing all aspects of financing for Pebblehut and QVF productions, as well as overall administration of contracts and applications for various government tax credit programs.

Prior to joining Pebblehut in early 2000, Patricia was an Assurance Manager in KPMG LLP’s “ICE” (Information, Communications & Entertainment) division where she was exposed to virtually all sides of the industry including major broadcast and production companies in Canada, both public and private.
